Veronica N. Davis was born on February 22, 1991 in Maywood, Illinois. She was raised in a house full of creative talents, which is why she started to learn piano. She quickly found that her heart didn’t want that, at the time she was seven years old. A year later she discovered a new passion, writing. For the past 10 years she’s been doing just that, posting it on her website where she’s won over 30 online awards, and written over 20 novels. One day she was cleaning out her room and discovered a book she made that was as thick as a novel and in the back, where you’d normally find an author’s page, was a letter to herself whenever she came across it again. It read, ‘Whenever you see this…if you should have forgotten what you loved about writing, remember that your dream has always been unwritten, but soon I hope it is written. Good luck girl!’. It was from when she was 12 years old. Here she is six years later making her dreams come true through her own hard work and many hours sitting at the computer wondering what would grasp her generation, not to reach stardom, but to satisfy the average reader. Blind Thirst is her first published book and she sees it as not only a novel, but just an accomplishment she can add to her book collection that she looks proudly upon. Something she said frequently during the process of this novel was, “I just want to be able to put my novel on my bookshelf in my bedroom and say I did that, I made that happen.” Well Veronica, you did that…you made that happen.
